AbstractCyst hydatid is still a significant public health problem in Turkey. It is a parasitic infection, which liver is the most frequently infected organ.The most patients are asymptomatic, may develop symptoms related to cyst rupture or compression of the surrounding structures. The cyst is characteristically seen as a solitary or multiple, round or oval mass that has well-defined borders on imaging.In this article, a 43 years old male patient has been presented who had a full posteroanterior chest x-ray due to a recent trauma where cyst hydatid was coincidentally detected. |

ÖzetKist hidatik, Türkiye?de hala önemli bir sağlık problemidir. Çoğunlukla karaciğeri enfekte eden parazitik bir hastalıktır. Hastaların çoğu asemptomatik olmasına karşın, kist rüptüre olarak veya çevre dokulara bası oluşturarak semptomatik duruma gelebilir. Radyolojik olarak, soliter veya multiple, yuvarlak veya oval, düzgün sınırlı kitle lezyonu şeklinde görülür.Bu yazımızda, yakın zamanda oluşan bir travma nedeni ile çekilen akciğer grafisinin tam olarak değerlendirilmesi sonucunda rastlantısal olarak kist hidatik tesbit edilen 43 yaşındaki erkek hasta sunulmuştur. |
