AbstractHemangiomas which is the most common benign tumor of the liver are usually asymptomatic. These lesions are more common in females and the most common symptom is abdominal pain. Compression to the surrounding organs, dyspeptic complaints and the obstructive jaundice are less common symptoms of hepatic hemangiomas. Althought the treatment options of the symptomatic hemangiomas are surgical resection or enucleation it will be more appropriate to perform this kind of procedures at the experienced centers. We present a case of a giant hemangioma fills approximately the whole left lob of the liver which causes the external compression to the stomach that provokes the dispeptic symptoms and treated with segment 2-3 resection . |

ÖzetKaraciğerin en sık görülen benign tümörü olan hemanjiyomlar genellikle asemptomatik seyrederler. Kadınlarda daha sık görülen bu lezyonların en sık belirtisi karın ağrısıdır. Çevre organlara bası, dispeptik şikayetler, tıkanma sarılığı daha ender belirtileridir. Semptomatik hemanjiyomların tedavisi cerrahi rezeksiyon ya da enükleasyon olmakla birlikte deneyimli merkezlerde bu tedavilerin yapılması daha uygundur. Dispepsik yakınmlarla başvuran ve yapılan tetkiklerinde mideye dıştan bası yapan, karaciğer sol lobunu doldurmuş dev hemanjiyomun, segment 2-3 rezeksiyonu ile tedavisi sunulmaktadır. |
