AbstractFronto-orbital-ethmoid mucoseles can cause lethal complications when they are not treated. Fronto -orbital- ethmoid mucoseles are treated successfully by endoscopic and non endoscopic approaches. Surgical treatment choice is determined up to the frontal recess anatomy. Osteoplastic flep anf frontal sinüs obliteration is preffered in cases whom has travma or surgery history .Osteoplastic flep technique has too many advantages. A 25 year old patient whom had been operated by neurosurgeons for a tuberculum cella menengioma reffered with righy sided swelling of eye and forehead. This patient whom we performed mucosele excision from frontal sinus by osteoplastic approach and frontal sinus obliteration is declared. |

ÖzetFronto-orbital-etmoid mukoseller tedavi edilmediğinde letal komplikasyonlara yol açabilirler. Bu nedenle etkin bir tedavi yaklaşımı seçmek çok önemlidir.Fronto-orbital-etmoid mukoseller endoskopik ve nonendoskopik yaklaşımlarla başarılı bir şekilde tedavi edilmektedirler. Cerrahi yaklaşımın tercihi esas olarak frontal reses anatomisine göre belirlenir. Travma veya cerrahi öyküsü olanlarda sıklıkla osteoplastik flep ve frontal sinüs obliterasyonu tercih edilmektedir. Osteoplastik flep tekniğinin birçok avantajı mevcuttur. On beş ay önce beyin cerrahisi tarafından tuberkulum sella menenjiomu nedeniyle opere edilmiş olan 25 yaşındaki bayan hasta sağ gözde ve alında şişlik şikayeti ile başvurdu. Osteoplastik yaklaşımla frontal sinüsden mukosel eksizyonu, sinüsün yağ ile obliterasyonu uygulanan hasta sunulmuştur. |
