AbstractCarbonmonoxide poisoning is common and fatal in our country. Clinic of the patient may be seen in a wide spectrum from mild poisoning to death. Headache and altered consciousness are the most common complaints. Blood gas and carboxyhemoglobin levels are valuable in the diagnosis and treatment. Oxygen is the main treatment and erythrocyte apheresis therapy has become widespread recently. The aim of this report was to present the case that can not be treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy but the patient was discharged as a result of succesful apheresis treatment. |

ÖzetKarbonmonoksit zehirlenmesi ülkemizde yaygın ve ölümcül olarak görülmektedir. Hastanın kliniği hafif zehirlenmeden, ölümcül düzeye kadar geniş bir alanda seyreder. Başağrısı ve bilinç değişikliği en sık görülen şikâyetlerdir. Kangazı ve karboksihemoglobin düzeyleri tanıda ve tedavinin planlanmasında değerlidir. Oksijen desteği ana tedavi olup, eritrosit aferez tedavisi son dönemlerde yaygınlaşmaktadır. Bu yazıda, hiperbarik oksijen tedavisi yapılamayan, eritrosit aferez tedavisi sonucu şifa ile taburcu edilen hastayı sunmayı amaçladık. |
