AbstractSarcoidosis is a sistemic disease that has granulomatouse inflamation, and effects lymph nodes. It is rarely seen on pleura but if it is seen, pneumothorax will be occure as clinical. Our case who diagnosed sarcoidosis, he had 13 pneumothorax episodes totally both of right and left, in time of corticosteroid treatment. It is not clear that using of corticosteroid is effective for preventing from pleural complications. Therefore, totally pleurectomy and decortication is suggested for reccurance pneumothorax. |

ÖzetSarkoidoz genellikle lenf nodlarını tutan granülomatöz inflamasyon ile karakterize sistemik bir hastalıktır. Plevra tutulumu nadir olmakla birlikte pnömotoraks ile klinik bulgu verebilir. Sarkoidoz ile takipli hastamızda steroid tedavisi almasına rağmen sağ ve solda toplam 13 kez pnömotoraks gelişmiştir. Steroid kullanımının her olguda plevral komplikasyonları önlemede etkili olduğu söylenemez. Ancak, pnömotoraks gelişen hastalarda nükslerin önlenmesi için total plevrektomi ve dekortikasyon önerilir. |
