AbstractLungs are divided into lobs by the oblique and the transvers fissures. The right lung consists of three lobes and left lungs two lobes. These subdivisions of the pulmonary lobes are divided into segments. During the development, some extra fissure and extra lobe may occur in the lungs. Azygos lobe which appears in the inner surface of the right lung apex is a rare venous anomaly of the lung. Azygos lobe is usually asymptomatic and does not require a specific treatment. But it should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of lesions in the lungs. A 24 year old male patient applied with the complaints of coughing, shortness of breath and chest pain. During the study to find the etiology, azygos lobe was detected on chest x-ray and after the arrangement of the symptomatic treatment, the patient was decided to be followed up. |

ÖzetAkciğerler oblik ve transvers (horizontal) fissurlar ile loblara ayrılmaktadır. Sağ akciğerin üç lobu, sol akciğerin iki lobu bulunmaktadır. Akciğerin bu lobları da daha küçük birimler olan segmentlere ayrılır. Gelişim sırasında akciğerlerde bazen ilave fissur ve lobların oluşabileceği bildirilmektedir. Azigos lobu, sağ akciğer apeksinin iç yüzeyinde yerleşimli, akciğerin nadir görülen venöz anomalilerinden biridir. Azigos lob genellikle asemptomatiktir ve özel bir tedavi gerektirmez. Ancak akciğer lezyonlarının ayırıcı tanısında akılda tutulmalıdır. 24 yaşında erkek hasta, öksürük, nefes darlığı ve göğüs ağrısı şikayeti ile başvurdu. Etyolojiye yönelik yapılan araştırma esnasında akciğer grafisinde azigos lobu saptanan hasta semptomatik tedavi düzenlenerek takip altına alındı. |
