AbstractPhytobezoars are known as accumulation of ingested fibers of the plant foods in the stomach and forming glomuses. It is more probable to come across phytobezoara in patients who has had gastroduodenal ulcers operation or in patients who consume too much fiber foods. Phytobezoars rarely may cause complicated ileus, perforation and peritonitis .We aim to have a discussion on a young patient, whom we have operated for phytobezoara ileus, according to the literature without history knowledge of earlier operation. |

ÖzetFitobezoarlar, yutulan bitkisel gıdalardaki liflerin mide ve bağırsakta birikerek yumak oluşturması olarak bilinirler. Daha çok, gastroduodenal ülser nedeni ile operasyon geçiren hastalardaki gastroparezis ya da fazla miktarda lifli besinlerin öğütülmeden yutulmasından kaynaklanırlar. Fitobezoarlar nadiren komplike ileus, perforasyon ve peritonite neden olabilirler. Biz, bu yazımızda, fitobezoara bağlı olarak ileus nedeniyle opere ettiğimiz, daha önce operasyon öyküsü olmayan genç bir hastayı literatür eşiğinde tartışmayı hedefledik. |
