AbstractMany patients are operated for diagnostic and curative purposes because of the complaints of breast mass in the current general surgery practice. We present a case with spontaneously formed diffuse ecchymosis without hematomas 5 days following the excision of a lower-outer quadrant suspected mass from the right breast. The patient?s blood coagulation, biochemistry and hematological evaluations were normal, and medical therapy was applied. Etiology couldn't been determined and this ecchymosis was approved as idiopathic. |

ÖzetGünümüz genel cerrahi pratiğinde, memede kitle şikayeti bulunan çok sayıda hasta, tanı ve tedavi amacıyla opere edilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, sağ meme alt dış kadranda şüpheli kitle nedeniyle yapılan eksizyonel meme biyopsisinden 5 gün sonra, cerrahi alanda hematom olmaksızın spontan olarak sağ memede yaygın ekimoz gelişen hasta sunuldu. Koagülasyon testleri, biyokimyasal değerleri ve hematolojik değerlendirilmesi normal olan hastada gelişen yaygın ekimoz idiopatik olarak kabul edildi ve medikal tedavi uygulandı. |
