AbstractDamage to lung parenchyma by blunt thoracic trauma often appears as contusion or hematoma. A pulmonary hematoma is a collection of blood within the tissue of the lung. Unlike contusions, hematomas do not usually interfere with gas exchange in the lung, but they do increase the risk of infection and abscess formation. In this study we report two cases of pulmonary hematoma. The patients were treated conservatively.There was no complication in patients. |

ÖzetKünt toraks travmalarında akciğer parankiminde oluşan hasarlar sıklıkla kontüzyon veya hematom olarak karşımıza çıkar. Pulmoner hematom akciğer dokusu içerisinde kan toplanmasıdır. Pulmoner hematom, kontüzyonun aksine akciğerde gaz değişimini etkilemez, ama infeksiyon ve apse oluşum riskini arttırır. Bu çalışmada, pulmoner hematomlu iki olgu sunuldu. Olgular konservatif olarak tedavi edildi ve komplikasyon gelişmedi. |
