AbstractA 63 year old female patient admitted hospital with progressive dyspnea. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a mass in the left atrium obstructing the blood flow through mitral valve, arising from interatrial septum to anterior mitral leaflet. Elective surgery planned for removal of the mass. The histological examination showed an undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma. Patient is healthy after 6 months from the operation and no recurrence is detected. |

Özet63 yaşında kadın hasta progresif solunum sıkıntısı nedeniyle hastaneye başvurdu. Yapılan transtorasik ekokardiografide interatrial septumdan başlayarak mitral anterior leafletine dek uzanım gösteren ve mitral akımı ciddi derecede engelleyen kitle tespit edilmesi üzerine operasyona alındı.Kitlenin histolojik incelenmesi sonucu indiferansiye pleomorfik sarkom tanısı kondu. Kitlenin total eksizyonu sonrası hasta postoperatif 6 aylık takibinde sağlıklıdır ve rekürrens saptanmamıştır. |
