AbstractThe toxication by mad honey is a special toxication as a result of resuming of honey produced by rhododendron pollen and nectars founding in the flowers and leaves of Ericaceae and Sapindaceae family. This toxication caused non-specific symptoms or it may lead life-threatening hemoinstability mentioned above and may be confused with various diseases. In this case, we reported a patient, applying to our emergency department, with the complaints of vertigo, feeling of blackout and numbness of hands and after examination we determined bradicardia and hypotension. |

ÖzetDeli bal zehirlenmesi, grayanotoksin içeren özellikle Ericaceae ve Sapindaceae ailesinin çiçek ve yapraklarında bulunan rhododendron polen ve nektarlarından üretilen balın tüketilmesi sonucu görülen bir zehirlenme türüdür. Non-spesifik semptomlar oluşturabileceği gibi hayatı tehdit edebilen hemodinamik instabiliteye yol açabilir ve bir çok hastalıkla karışabilir. Bu çalışmamızda, deli bal yenmesi sonrası acil servise baş dönmesi, göz kararması ve ellerde uyuşma ile başvuran ve muayenesinde hipotansiyon ve bradikardisi tespit edilen bir olguyu sunmayı amaçladık. |
