AbstractA 74-year-old male patient was admitted to our hospital with swelling in the head. Physical examination revealed a palpable subcutaneous mass at the parieto-occipital region. The patient underwent an operation due to mass at the same location.Ultrasonographic evaluation and MRI findings prior to surgery suggested a recurrent trichilemmal cyst. Pathological diagnosis after surgical excision was consistent with these findings.Our aim is to determine the radiological features of this recurrent trichilemmal tumor in in parieto-occipital region. |

ÖzetYetmiş dört yaşında erkek hasta kafada şişlik şikayeti ile hastanemize başvurdu. Fizik muayenede paryeto-oksipital bölgede cilt altında ele gelen bir kitle tespit edildi. Hasta aynı lokalizasyonda tespit edilen bir kitle nedeniyle 1 yıl önce opere olmuştu. Cerrahi operasyon öncesi yapılan ultrasonografi (USG) ve magnetik rezonans (MR) incelemelerinde lezyon, nüks trikilemmal kist olarak yorumlandı. Cerrahi eksizyon sonrası patolojik tanısı da bu bulgularla uyumlu saptandı. Amacımız, paryeto-oksipital bölgede saptanan nüks trikilemmal kisti olan hastanın radyolojik özelliklerini ortaya koymaktır. |
